Rebound Therapy

This course is designed to enable members to use the trampoline for the benefit of students with a wide range of diabilities.

Course Outline:
Safety Aspects; Appraisal of personal skills; Development and award programmes; Programmes for defined special needs; Problem solving - practical simulations This is a wide-ranging course, encompassing a variety of professional disciplines.

We welcome those involved in various caring professions - specifically: Teachers, Teaching assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Parents, Carers and Health workers. Also Trampoline Coaches.

Beyond Rebound

This qualification will enable the candidate to teach higher level trampoline skills to their pupils, including forwards and backwards somersaults and their progressions.

Prerequisites

Two day course - 9 am - 3.30pm

Venue: Jump Space Centre. Hardman St. Stockport. SK3 0BJ.

This course teaches a range of skills including shaped body landings, twists into and out of body landings, rotational skills including forwards and backwards somersaults.

The training covers skills from the Winstrada scheme awards 9 & 10.

This course can be used as an alternative to the coaching for teachers and UKCC programmes within a school setting. Beyond Rebound is run in association with Rebound Therapy dot org.

Foundation Gymnastics

This workshop enables the candidate to deliver basic gymnastic movement activities linked to the Winstrada 1 - 5 awards.

The course is suitable for teachers, Teaching assistants, support staff, sports coaches and leaders.

This workshop has no prerequisites.

Course will include work on floor around balance, movement, jumping, rolling and using small equipment.
